If you're looking for a nice piece of art, and what you see in thee picture looks good -- buy this. (It also comes in smaller version, and a version without a base.) If you're looking for something to make a lot of noise -- look someplace else. I consider the occasional rings to be a bonus. It's a nice looking piece of outdoor art. The cupped bells on stems echo the flowers in other parts of my garden, adding a bit of artificial unity around my lower-growing hostas.

This is strictly decoration. It's not really all that functional, but I really like the way it looks, and I have no regrets about it's purchase.
