24
24 is not on the fall 2005-2006 schedule, but may return mid-season.
Such a simple idea -- yet so fiendishly complex in the execution. 24, as surely everyone knows by now, is a thriller that takes places over 24 hours, midnight to midnight, in 24 one-hour episodes (well, 45-minute episodes if you subtract the commercials). Everything takes place in real time, which means no flashbacks, no flash-forwards, no handy time-dissolves. Every strand of the plot has to be dovetailed and interlocked so things happen just when they should, in the right amount of time. Not that easy. Creator Robert Cochran and his team of writers and directors have done an impressive job of putting the jigsaw together and keeping the tension ratcheted up high.
| 24: The Unofficial Guide (paperback)This book follows each episode in the first season of the acclaimed Fox television show 24, which stars Kiefer Sutherland as FBI Agent Jack Bauer. The action, plot twists, and surprises in each show are described, and a detailed profile of each character is provided. Discussion is included on the potential flaws, unanswered questions, and various loose ends that resulted after the show's first season. A special trivia section details such facts as Bauer's mobile phone number and his daughter's birthday. | |
| 24: The House Special Subcommittee's Findings at CTU (paperback)A riveting account of Jack's grueling appearance before our government's most inquiring minds during their probe into alleged wrongdoings at CTU that first fateful 24 hour period. The testimony from these closed hearings was leaked to investigative journalist Marc Cerasini, who then ran with it to publisher HarperCollins. With some of the finest reporting seen since Woodward's coverage of the Pentagon Papers, this book contains: Jack Bauer's complete Grand Jury Testimony; Press statements from President-elect David Palmer; Transcribed debriefings with other key CTU agents; Previously sealed files on Bauer's related undercover activities; The arrest, detainment and transport records for Victor Drazen; Teri Bauer's medical records; Autopsy reports; Campaign finance records; Commentary from the Beltway's most celebrated political pundits; and Theories as to how and why key players within CTU turned. | |
| 24 (soundtrack cd)Creator/producer Joel Surnow's hit action-suspense series largely turns on an innovative fusion of real-time plot line delivered by aggressive camera work and multi-frame editing technique. But no small part of the show's intensely propulsive drive -- and much of its dramatic tension and atmospheric textures -- are consistently delivered by the music of young composer Sean Callery, who's won three straight Emmy nominations (winning once) for his contributions to the series. The composer personally selected and annotated the tracks for this anthology of his best work from the show's first three seasons, anchored by a complete version of the show's usually truncated theme. Though it shares similarities with Michael Giacchino's work on Alias, Callery's work here is consistently darker, an electro-organic fusion that spans tense, brooding orchestral passages and thrashing dollops of metallic-edged techno. Yet the composer also delivers moments of melodic, almost mournful solitude, while the third season's story line inspires some evocative Latin influences as well. Callery's background in sound effects editing contributes much to the rich sonic textures here, yielding a pioneering approach that portends a bright future for the composer. |

American Dad
Sundays, 9:30pm (8:30 Central)
American Dad, from Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, is the animated story of Stan Smith, who works for the CIA and is constantly on the alert for terrorist activity. Stan will go to extremes to protect his beloved America from harm -- as evidenced by the terror-alert color code on his fridge, and his frequent knee-jerk reaction of shooting holes in the toaster whenever the toast pops up. In addition to Stan's wife and teenage children, the Smith household has two rather unconventional members. There's Roger, the sarcastic space alien Stan rescued from Area 51 who deeply resents the fact that he's not allowed to leave the house, and Klaus, a lascivious, German-speaking goldfish -- the result of a CIA experiment gone seriously wrong.
^ TOPAmerican Idol
American Idol is not on the fall 2005-2006 schedule but may return mid-season.
The search for the next big pop singer, American Idol holds auditions across the USA. The best are then invited to Los Angeles, where they perform each week on the Tuesday show. Viewers then phone in their votes for their favorite, and the results are revealed on the Wednesday show. Eventually the field is narrowed down, and only the new American Idol remains. The winner recieves a recording and promotion contract.
| American Idol - The Search For A Superstar DVDThis 90-minute highlights recap extends the proverbial 15 minutes of fame for the hopefuls who galvanized the nation as they contended for a recording contract. This talent show -- part Star Search, part The Gong Show, part A Chorus Line -- was an instant pop-culture phenomenon, but the breakout star of this series was arguably not winner Kelly Clarkson, she of the powerhouse voice, or even runner-up Jason Guarini, he of the Sideshow Bob hair. One of the judges, record producer Simon Cowell, emerged as the show's villain who audiences loved to hate. (A bonus segment on this DVD, "When Judges Attack," replays Simon's nastiest feuds with disgruntled contestants and fellow judges Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.) Relive the agony (staged comedy bits and bloopers with series hosts Ryan Seacrest and Brian Dunkleman, who, if nothing else, gave Saturday Night Live's Jimmy Fallon a prime target for parody), the triumphant solo performances, the cheesy ensemble numbers that went out with Up with People, and the onstage drama over who America would next vote offstage (the Tamyra Gray contingent is no doubt still in shock). On the DVD, a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage documenting each stage of the contest process should satisfy Idol-philes. | |

America's Most Wanted
Saturdays, 9pm (8 Central)
A tireless advocate for victims rights and missing children, John Walsh has turned his passion for justice into the nation's number one crime-fighting show, America's Most Wanted. AMW first aired on February 7, 1988. Within days of our first airing, David James Roberts, an FBI Ten Most Wanted fugitive was captured. Roberts, a convicted killer, escaped from prison in 1968 and after nearly twenty years on the run was caught as a direct result of AMW in February 1988.
Law enforcement agencies trust AMW and work hand-in-hand with us to bring criminals to justice. Police know that profiling their cases before a national audience increases the likelihood of solving them. Agencies often come to us first with breaking news and recent developments. However, we maintain a strict independence; we do not work for law enforcement, we work on behalf of victims.

While George Sr. spent the last year in the slammer discovering his newfound Judaism and recording inspirational tapes, Michael spent it picking up the pieces and trying to teach his offbeat family how to live without an endless expense account. All the while, Michael has also been trying to do right by his 14-year-old son, George Michael (Michael Cera), an earnest kid who works diligently at the family's frozen banana stand.

The Bernie Mac Show
Fridays, 8pm (7 Central)
Inspired by the real life of comedian Bernie Mac, The Bernie Mac Show is a daring half-hour comedy about a man with unique views on parenting. Bernie and his wife Wanda (Kellita Smith) will tell you straight up they never wanted to raise kids. He's a busy stand-up comedian, and she's a vice president for a major corporation. But after having to take in his sister's kids, Vanessa (Camille Winbush), Jordan (Jeremy Suarez), and Bryana (Dee Dee Davis), Bernie and Wanda learn to accept and love them as their own.
However, Bernie's old school ideas of discipline and child rearing collide with society's politically correct notions of how children should be raised. He believes his kids are "too sassy, too grown and talk back too much," and that a little respect for one's elders is not so much to ask. And when it comes to parenting, he subscribes to the school of tough love.
| The Bernie Mac Show - Season 1 DVDA 4 disc box set that includes all 22 episodes from season one, with commentary on selected episodes. Also includes, "Bernie Mac: TV's Family Man" as seen on A&E's TVography. |
Bones
Tuesdays, 8pm (7 Central)
Bones is a darkly amusing drama inspired by real-life forensic anthropologist and novelist Kathy Reichs. Forensic anthropologist Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), who works at the Jeffersonian Institution and writes novels as a sideline, has an uncanny ability to read clues left behind in a victim's bones. Consequently, law enforcement calls her in to assist with murder investigations when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned or destroyed that the standard identification methods are useless. Brennan's equally brilliant colleagues at the Jeffersonian's Medico-Legal Lab include earthy and bawdy Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin), who's created a unique way to render an original crime scene in a three-dimensional computer image; Brennan's assistant, Zack Addy (Eric Millegan), a young prodigy whose genius IQ actually gets in the way of his finishing the several doctorates he has begun; "the bug guy," Dr. Jack Hodgins (TJ Thyne), who's an expert on insects, spores and minerals, but conspiracy is his hobby; and Brennan's boss, imposing lab director Dr. Daniel Goodman (Jonathan Adams). Brennan often finds herself teamed with Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), a former Army sniper who mistrusts science and scientists when it comes to solving crimes. Brennan and Booth clash both professionally and personally, but so far the chemistry between them has only played out in a fictionalized account in Brennan's latest mystery novel.
| Cross BonesA gripping and explosive new thriller from internationally acclaimed forensic anthropologist and New York Times bestselling author Kathy Reichs, featuring Temperance Brennan and Detective Andrew Ryan on the trail of a modern murder and an ancient biblical mystery. Cross Bones, with its lightning pace, intricately plotted story, riveting and state-of-the-art forensic detail, is Kathy Reichs's most compelling and dramatic novel yet. |
Cops
Saturdays, 8pm (7 Central)
Cops is the original reality show. It premiered in March 1989 on Fox. A cameraman rides along with law enforcement, and records the real drama encountered by the officers. "Cops is filmed with the men and women of law enforcement. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
| Cops 3-Pack DVDA three DVD set of specially themed Cops episodes. Included are "Bad Girls", "Caught in the Act", and "Shots Fired". |
Family Guy
Sundays, 9pm (8 Central)
Canceled? Who said anything about canceled? Family Guy has been resurected three times. Having premiered in 1999, and with it's fourth season starting May 1, 2005, Family Guy may have set a record for longest hiatus. Family Guy has attracted an impressively large and loyal following of devoted fans, and has sold more than 3 million DVD's making it the fourth-largest TV series seller ever.
Creator Seth MacFarlane will continue to serve-up the distinctively twisted and irreverently outrageous trials and tribulations of Peter Griffin (MacFarlane), and his not-quite-so-average family of middle-class New Englanders. Lois (Alex Borstein) is Peter's loving wife, who struggles to maintain a medicum of normalcy in their home life. Then there are their kids: Angst-ridden, 16-year-old Meg (Mila Kunis), who only really wants to get noticed; 13-year-old Chris (Seth Green), a sweet-natured slacker; and 1-year-old Stewie (MacFarlane), a diabolically clever baby who's already bent on world domination. Rounding out the Griffin household is Brian (MacFarlane), the brainy family dog who likes his martinis as dry as his dog food.
| Family Guy : Stewie's Guide to World Domination (paperback)Stewie Griffin is a maniacal one-year-old baby genius who sees clearly what's wrong with the world and is hell-bent on staging a coup d'etat that would turn absolute power over to him! The first tyrannical leader on his hit list is his mother, Lois -- the leader of the "gynocracy" making his young life totally insufferable. There are others, too. Hell, if it weren't for his lack of muscle tone, toilet training, and his need for parentally provided sustenance, Stewie would have already gained control over most of the third world. But even as a toddler Stewie knows that in order to rule the world you must first understand it. So he has compiled a book of his own musings on a wide variety of subjects: work, politics, religion, family, love, childhood, parenting, education, and more. What results is an anarchist's delight. | |
| Family Guy: The Official Episode Guide to Seasons 1-3 (paperback)If you consider Spooner Street in Quahog to be the center of the TV universe, this is the book for you! It's packed with details from each and every episode of the first three seasons of the Emmy-nominated series. Learn more about Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, Brian, and friends than you can shake a stick at -- or, in Brian's case, shake a martini at! There's a ton of insider stuff too: Commentary from the show's creator, producers, writers, and voice-over artists, including thoughts about those guys at Fox who did the unthinkable (like canceling the show) ... and then the unheard of (like bringing it back to the network!); Behind-the-scenes jokes and pranks; Subtle things you may have missed; And lots more. It's all here -- Family Guy, uncanceled, unbanned, and uncensored! It's a must-have for all Family Guy fans. | |
| Family Guy Live in Las Vegas (audio cd with bonus dvd)Freed from the constraints of television, series producer Seth MacFarlane tells viewers of the bonus DVD that the comedy on this disc will be "edgier." While Family Guy was never known for subtlety, most of the tracks on this disc are as heavy handed and mean-spirited as hitting someone over the head with a baseball bat. "All Cartoons Are F***** D**ks," with a guest appearance by Jason Alexander, is sort of funny, and the TV medley sung by Brian and Stewie is enjoyable (although it's overstayed its welcome by the time they get to the "Who's the Boss" theme). Other tracks like "Puberty's Gonna Get Me," and "'Q' Man Loves Nobody" are just painful. Perhaps the most entertaining part of this package is Stewie's "Sexy Party" video, which is found on the DVD. This disc holds promise for Family Guy fans and anyone who's driven to hysterical giggles by the word "balls." For others -- not so much. | |
| Family Guy, Vol. 1 (Seasons 1 & 2) DVDThis 4 DVD set includes all 28 aired episodes from seasons 1 & 2 of the series. Extras include commentary on selected episodes, a Behind-the-scenes featurette, and promotional spots for the series. | |
| Family Guy, Vol. 2 (Season 3) DVDA three disc set that includes all 22 episodes of season three, including "When You Wish Upon a Weinstein", the episode that Fox refused to air at the time. Extras include commentary on selected episodes, the original series pitch, and featurettes, "Uncensored" and "Series Overview". | |
| Family Guy, Vol. 3 (Season 4) DVDIt wasn't that long ago that Seth MacFarlane's Family Guy suffered an untimely death thanks to the brilliant collective minds at Fox, dooming the series to late night re-runs on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block. However, the re-runs managed to get higher ratings then the syndicated episodes, and the DVD sales were surprisingly through the roof. Thus, the voices of the people were heard by the mighty network, and Family Guy was miraculously resurrected and back on Fox. The series gets off to a slamming start (including Peter's opening rant where he names every single show to air on Fox that suffered an untimely death as well) as Peter and Lois seek to spice up their relationship, and end up stealing the master copy of Mel Gibson's upcoming "Passion of the Christ 2". Later on, Peter gets judged to be mentally incompetant, and there's plenty of other gags, in-jokes, and absurd references that only a handful of people will get. It's true, this fourth season isn't the same quality as the previous three (Stewie is more of a wisecracking character than the evil baby genius hellbent on controling the world here, and his interaction with pet dog Brian isn't what it used to be) but it's still complete animated lunacy that is irreverant as ever, and hilarious as ever. The voice team, including MacFarlane, MAD TV alum Alex Borstein, Seth Green, and That '70s Show's Mila Kunis, do great deadpan work. All in all, it's great to have Family Guy back, and the prayers of longtime fans yearning for the show to return have thankfully been answered. Let's hope that this time around, Fox has learned a lesson, and won't shuffle the show around the schedule to the brink of cancellation like they did before. | |
| Stewie Griffin - The Untold Story DVDStewie, the maniacal baby genius, is distracted from his plans for world domination when he sees a man who looks just like him on television. Convinced that this man must be his real father (after all, how could he possibly share genetic material with the dimwitted Peter?), Stewie sets off on a cross-country road trip to find him. But his incredible journey leads him to discoveries far more vile and shocking than anything found in his diaper. Much of the footage comes from episodes of Family Guy, but there is a great deal of original footage, never before seen on TV (and not suitable for TV!) Run time is 83 minutes, plus extras. |
Head Cases
Wednesdays, 9pm (8 Central)
Starring Chris O'Donnell as attorney Jason Payne, whose superstar career at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm backfired when his wife, Laurie (Krista Allen), kicked him out of the house and, to make a bad day even worse, he had a nervous breakdown. After three months at a "wellness center," Jason found himself with no job, no place to live and no support system. Enter Shultz (Adam Goldberg), an unkempt, unpredictable sufferer of explosive disorder, assigned to be outpatient "buddies" with Jason by their mutual therapist, Dr. Robinson (Rockmond Dunbar). A low-rent lawyer who usually represents deviants and petty criminals, Shultz eagerly latches onto a very reluctant Jason, inserting himself in all aspects of Jason's personal and professional life. The intrusion is the last thing Jason needs, preoccupied as he is with trying to re-establish a relationship with his 8-year-old son, Ryan (Jake Cherry), reach some kind of accord with Laurie, and lend emotional support to Kate (Rachel Leigh Cook), a troubled young woman he met at the wellness center. For Jason and Shultz, what begins as a bumpy alliance gradually turns amicable as each helps steer the other toward against-all-odds legal victories. Ultimately, they hang up their shingle together and set out to take on underdog clients while attempting to keep each other "sane."
^ TOPHell's Kitchen
A second round of Hell's Kitchen is in production, and will premier as a replacement series later in the 2005-06 season.
Hell's Kitchen is a culinary boot camp that features a group of wannabe Cordon Bleu cooks and aspiring restaurateurs running a top-class restaurant, overseen by world-renowned but terrifying Head Chef Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay and Hell's Kitchen will serve helpings of terror, tears, tantrums and triumphs in this dramatic unscripted series.
Adapted from the wildly successful British short-run series of the same name, Hell's Kitchen will follow the competing chefs 24/7, capturing the drama, intrigue and high emotion as the restaurant's opening night approaches. These ambitious hopefuls believe they have the drive, talent and desire to run their own restaurant, and they will be tossed into the cauldron, working under Ramsay and fighting for survival.
The participants may have varying culinary experience, whether as a burger flipper, a mother of six or a barbecue wiz, but one thing they will all have in common is a passion for food. Each week Ramsay will slice and dice the contestants, keeping those who possess the right combination of ingredients to ensure success.
The contestants will believe they have what it takes to work in the adrenalin-fueled atmosphere of a busy kitchen -- but they haven't worked for the perfectionist Ramsay before. A man they may fear and respect in equal measure, he will be assessing their performance and driving them to achieve the best. For him, failure is not an option, and nothing and no one will stand in his way. So for the trainees, this means one thing -- if they can't stand the heat they need to get out of Hell's Kitchen.

Unbeknownst to Hale, she has a hidden agenda -- and it might lead to his downfall. In the course of investigating his cases, Hale works closely with his boss, the likable Lieutenant Matt Cavanaugh (Chi McBride), and with Dr. Francine Klepp, a forensic pathologist in the Coroner's lab and the former roommate of Hale's late partner, Meg. Kitchen Confidential
Mondays, 8:30pm (7:30 Central)
Based on renowned chef Anthony Bourdain's best-selling autobiography, Kitchen Confidential explores the deliciously crazy world of upscale restaurants. Chef Jack Bourdain (Bradley Cooper) found enormous success at a young age, but his culinary genius also led to a lifestyle of boozing, womanizing and drugs. After hitting rock bottom and deciding to sober up, the only job he could get was slopping soggy pasta for the masses at a tacky opera-themed restaurant. Out of the blue, Jack is offered an opportunity to get back in the game as head chef at a top New York restaurant. There's just one problem: the owner gives Jack a mere 48 hours to fully staff his kitchen and prepare to dazzle over 300 customers -- including the food critic for the New York Times (who also happens to be a jilted ex). Jack hastily assembles a renegade crew of colleagues from his past, including chefs Stevn Daedalus (Owain Yeoman), Seth Klein (Nicholas Brendon) and Teddy Wong (John Cho). Also along for the ride are Tanya (Jaime King) the hostess, a rookie pastry chef named Jim (John F. Daley), and the owner's daughter, the gorgeous Mimi (Bonnie Somerville), who can't wait for Jack to fail.
| Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary UnderbellyWhen Chef Anthony Bourdain wrote "Don't Eat Before You Read This" in The New Yorker, he spared no one's appetite, revealing what goes on behind the kitchen door. In Kitchen Confidential, he expanded that appetizer into a deliciously funny, delectable shocking banquet that lays out his 25 years of sex, drugs, and haute cuisine. From his first oyster in the Gironde to the kitchen of the Rainbow Room atop Rockefeller Center, from the restaurants of Tokyo to the drug dealers of the East Village, from the mobsters to the rats, Bourdain's brilliantly written, wild-but-true tales make the belly ache with laughter. | |

So bring a sharp knife, a big appetite, and a willingness to learn, as Bourdain teaches you everything you need to know to prepare classic French bistro fare. While you're being guided, in simple steps, through recipes like roasted veal short ribs and steak frites, escargots aux noix, and foie gras aux pruneaux, you'll feel like he's in the kitchen beside you-reeling off a few insults when you've scorched the sauce, and then patting you on the back for finally getting the steak tartare right. |

Playing it Straight
This one-hour unscripted series may have a twist, but the rules are simple: if a straight guy is the last man standing, the couple splits the money. However, if a gay guy fools his way to the finish line, he leaves $1 million richer. With serious cash up for grabs, first impressions have never been more important.
^ TOPPrison Break
Mondays, 9pm (8 Central)
Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is a desperate man in a desperate situation. His brother, Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), is on death row and scheduled to die in a few months for a murder Michael is convinced Lincoln did not commit. With no other options and time winding down, Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. Once he's inside, we learn that Michael -- a structural engineer with the blueprints for the prison -- has hatched an elaborate plan to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. Senior correctional officer Bellick (Wade Williams) offers some prison wisdom as Michael arrives. Then, with the help of his cellmate, Sucre (Amaury Nolasco), Michael begins to align himself with a disparate group of prisoners, including former mob boss John Abruzz (Peter Stormare) and Charles Westmoreland (Muse Watson), a man some believe to be the infamous skyjacker D.B. Cooper. On the outside Michael has only one ally, his defense attorney and longtime friend, Veronica Donovan (Robin Tunney) -- who is Lincoln's former girlfriend. Meanwhile, Lincoln's 15-year-old son, LJ (Marshall Allman), is now adrift without his Uncle Michael's positive influence. Rounding out the cast are Sarah Wayne Callies as prison doctor Sara Tancredi, whom Michael ends up visiting more often than he should, and Stacy Keach as the powerful Warden Pope, who forges a close, almost father-son relationship with the new convict.
^ TOPReunion
Thursdays, 9pm (8 Central)
Part character drama and part mystery, Reunion marks a groundbreaking concept in series television as it chronicles the lives of a group of six friends over the course of 20 years -- all in just one season. From the hopes and dreams of 18-year-olds to the realities that irrevocably mark those lives two decades later, Reunion's stories are of love and loss, marriage and death, triumph and scandal. Will (Will Estes) longs to leave his small town behind. Aided by an athletic scholarship, he will be the first in his family to go to college. Craig (Sean Faris), handsome and privileged, looks forward to the Ivy League with his girlfriend, Samantha (Alexa Davalos), whose ambition is surpassed only by her looks and intelligence. The beautiful and sensual Jenna (Amanda Righetti) dreams of becoming an actress; behind his cynicism, Aaron (Dave Annable) dreams that his relationship with Jenna will go beyond friendship. Carla (Chyler Leigh), innocent and quirky, must choose between loyalty to her father and staying near her best friends. Reunion opens in 2005 at the funeral of one of the friends, whose death is being investigated by Detective Marjorino (Mathew St. Patrick). Before the identity of the deceased is revealed, we're transported back to 1986, as the group is celebrating their high school graduation. The pilot episode follows all six through the summer of 1986, and we witness the formative events that alter their dreams and desires forever. Episode two finds the group a full year later, in 1987; episode three tells the story of a seminal event in 1988, and so on -- culminating in the season finale at the friends' 20th high school reunion.

Too cool for the Wisconsin suburbs where he lives under the authority of his parents -- Red (Kurtwood Smith) and Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) -- 18-year-old Eric Forman (Topher Grace) yearns for his independence. But rites of passage aren't all that easy at a time when jumpsuits and platforms are the epitome of cool. Just ask Eric's ex-girlfriend and next door neighbor, Donna (Laura Prepon), a knock-out who's been forced to deal with her parents' recent split and her dad Bob's (Don Stark) new life as a swinging single.
Eric gets by with a little help from his friends, who spend most of their time hanging out in the Forman basement and pondering their lives, their parents and their future. The gang includes Kelso (Ashton Kutcher), a good-looking but gullible guy, especially when it comes to dealing with his controlling on-again, off-again girlfriend Jackie (Mila Kunis); Hyde (Danny Masterson), a conspiracy theorist who thinks Xerox will take over the world; and Fez (Wilmer Valderrama), a foreign exchange student who's soaking up American culture like a sponge.

The War at Home
Sundays, 8:30pm (7:30 Central)
When Dave (Michael Rapaport) and Vicky (Anita Barone) were growing up, their parents had it easy. Back then, there were no "time-outs," no one had any "boundaries" and "parenting" wasn't even a word. Parents also had no idea what their kids were really up to; ignorance truly was bliss. Now Dave and Vicky have teenagers of their own, and anything their kids might even think about doing, Dave and Vicky have already done ... at least twice. But knowledge isn't power -- it's a giant pain! Every day is a battle to keep the kids in line. Fifteen-year-old Larry (Kyle Sullivan) isn't exactly a frequent diner at the cool kids' table in the cafeteria, while 16-year-old Hillary (Kaylee Defer) knows it all and is just emerging onto the dating scene. Meanwhile, at 13, Mike (Dean Collins) is all hormones and video games. Dave and Vicky figure if they can send these three off to college without a police record or kids of their own, they've done their job.
