Overview
Created in 1964 by Merv Griffin, Jeopardy! has ranked first in the Nielsen ratings for the genre for over 1,000 weeks, and ranked as the number two series in syndication for 71 consecutive ratings sweeps period with more than an estimated 12 million viewers daily. It has won more than two dozen Daytime Emmy Awards, mor than any other synicated game show.
